The series "Butterfly effect" offers an original way to revisit major historical events through the lens of those tiny grains of sand that changed our civilizations.
What would we be today without Copernicus or Darwin? What would Europe look like if Churchill had not gone to war against the Nazis, or if the fall of the Berlin Wall had never happened?
The history of humanity is nothing but a series of incredible events. From the birth of a genius to the fall of an empire, from social revolutions to technological leaps, the greatest upheavals were often caused by the smallest, seemingly insignificant decisions.
3 seasons of 13 episodes

Synopsis

Each episode invites us to revisit a pivotal moment in the history of humanity through spectacular reenactments developed by 3D animation specialists. Each of these historical frescoes is punctuated with analysis segments, alternate history scenarios (what if such an event had never happened?), and comparisons with the present.
These sequences are staged in a virtual laboratory and presented by a narrator who represents the “Memory of Humanity.” The visual representation is always accompanied by commentary designed to be didactic and accessible to a broad audience.
