Les Films de la Butte organized an exclusive acoustic concert by Gilberto Gil during the lockdown, recorded on June 13, 2020, in the garden of his home in Brazil. Surrounded by his family, the artist performs his greatest hits, such as Toda menina baiana, Palco, and Superhomem, dedicating the performance to his friends in France.
Les Films de la Butte initiated this acoustic concert during the general lockdown period, and Gilberto Gil agreed to perform in an exclusive concert for television, playing his best songs and global hits.
For this show, recorded on June 13, 2020, in the garden of his Brazilian home, the artist is surrounded by his family—a unique moment he dedicates to his friends in France, where he hopes to soon create the orchestral version of the opera he has been writing for two years.
During this concert, he performs Toda menina baiana, Palco, Superhomem, Flora, Refazenda, Viramundo, and Express 2222, among others.
